Our Surveying Department, directed by Ralph O. Clements, L.S., uses the latest technology and is equipped with the latest in field and office equipment, including conventional and Robotic Total Stations and Global Positioning System (GPS) gear. All field information is recorded digitally from our instruments to data collectors. The survey data can then be downloaded directly to our office computer system for analysis and reduction using sophisticated least squares software. This "totally digital data flow" insures accuracy and efficiency, and our least squares analysis programs insure that our surveys exceed the mathematical positional uncertainty requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys as well as the requirements of the Virginia APELSCIDLA Board.

Beyond technology, we at Gay and Neel, Inc. believe that people are the greatest single contributing factor to a successful surveying project. Our Surveying Team has broad experience in all facets of Land Surveying, from title surveys for residential homebuyers to multi-million dollar construction projects.
